Research Associate 2

Responsibilities

• Assist with teaching for Phase 1 and Phase 2 veterinary students under faculty direction
• Perform data collection and analysis, including maintaining accurate records and entering data into Excel
• Conduct literature reviews to obtain detailed knowledge of specific research areas
• Summarize project results and provide input on data analysis
• Prepare manuscripts and presentations, serving as a primary or additional author on research projects
• Schedule and attend meetings with collaborating researchers
• Serve as a liaison between radiology residents and faculty mentors
• Assist with research design at the initiation of new project ideas

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• One year of related work experience
• Proficiency in handling and restraining domestic animals
• Strong record-keeping and computer skills
• Experience with the administration of drugs and medications (oral and systemic routes)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and reaching
