Research Associate 2

Responsibilities

• Conduct in vitro exposure of cell cultures and perform immunological, biochemical, cellular, and molecular biological assays
• Assist with in vivo studies related to the inhalation of environmental pollutants
• Perform laboratory maintenance tasks, including ordering supplies and managing inventory
• Train and supervise student workers and graduate students within the laboratory environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• 1 year of experience conducting research in a laboratory setting
• Ability to work independently in a collaborative team environment
• Ability to lift less than 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, and bending

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Biology, Toxicology, Public Health, Biochemistry, or Microbiology
• 1+ years of experience in laboratory management and cell culture work
