Research Associate 1

Responsibilities

• Perform animal health monitoring and tissue sample collection
• Execute molecular biology techniques including PCR, molecular cloning, and cell isolation
• Conduct DNA sample extraction, genotyping, and flow cytometry
• Assist in phenotype analysis to study immune responses to microbes
• Support graduate students and postdoctoral scientists with sample processing, data recording, and inventory management
• Maintain laboratory housekeeping and general research assistance tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Experience with animal handling
• Proficiency in DNA sample extraction and genotyping

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 1+ years of relevant research experience
