Research Associate 1

Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory techniques and data analysis under the direction of the Principal Investigator
• Maintain zebrafish colonies in strict adherence to animal care policies
• Assist in the training of student workers and graduate students
• Support routine lab operations, including ordering supplies and receiving packages
• Assist with lab maintenance and housekeeping tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, and lift less than 50 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Toxicology, Biology, Biochemistry, Biological Engineering, or Chemistry
• One year of previous experience working in a research lab as a student worker or volunteer
