About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory techniques and data analysis under the direction of the Principal Investigator
- Maintain zebrafish colonies in strict adherence to animal care policies
- Assist in the training of student workers and graduate students
- Support routine lab operations, including ordering supplies and receiving packages
- Assist with lab maintenance and housekeeping tasks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, reach, and lift less than 50 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Toxicology, Biology, Biochemistry, Biological Engineering, or Chemistry
- One year of previous experience working in a research lab as a student worker or volunteer
