Research Assistant

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ongoing research involving enzyme kinetics, molecular modeling, and biological testing
• Assist with animal studies, including tissue harvesting and working with mice
• Perform cell culture, antibody staining, and basic laboratory assays
• Maintain accurate and detailed laboratory records
• Assist in training other laboratory associates
• Adhere to the highest standards of safe laboratory practices and university guidelines
• Communicate effectively with team members and maintain strong interpersonal relationships

Requirements

• MS degree in pharmaceutical sciences, biomedical sciences, or a closely related field
• Ability to work Monday – Friday, with occasional extended hours or weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Basic skills in molecular biology
• Experience with in vitro mammalian cell culture
• Proficiency in immunohistochemistry and imaging techniques
• Demonstrated ability to work with mice
