About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct literature reviews and data management, including cleaning and preparation
- Perform data analysis by running statistical models and creating figures and tables
- Assist with manuscript preparation and dissemination of research findings
- Coordinate research activities and support lab operational activities
- Support the training and oversight of student researchers
- Help develop and maintain lab protocols and documentation
- Assist in the preparation of grant proposals
- Represent the EXPLORE Lab at seminars and professional conferences
Requirements
- BS in public health, epidemiology, biomedical sciences, environmental science, or a related field
- Knowledge of epidemiological principles
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong writing, communication, and public speaking skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Careful attention to detail and a strong interest in environmental exposures and human health
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in data management and analysis
- Proficiency in coding, especially with R or SAS
- Experience with manuscript preparation
- Background in reproductive epidemiology
