About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct literature reviews and data management, including cleaning and preparation
  • Perform data analysis by running statistical models and creating figures and tables
  • Assist with manuscript preparation and dissemination of research findings
  • Coordinate research activities and support lab operational activities
  • Support the training and oversight of student researchers
  • Help develop and maintain lab protocols and documentation
  • Assist in the preparation of grant proposals
  • Represent the EXPLORE Lab at seminars and professional conferences

Requirements

  • BS in public health, epidemiology, biomedical sciences, environmental science, or a related field
  • Knowledge of epidemiological principles
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong writing, communication, and public speaking skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Careful attention to detail and a strong interest in environmental exposures and human health

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in data management and analysis
  • Proficiency in coding, especially with R or SAS
  • Experience with manuscript preparation
  • Background in reproductive epidemiology
