About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop new specialized techniques for the processing and analysis of MRI data
- Design, execute, and interpret novel research experiments and data analysis pipelines
- Utilize MATLAB, Python, and MRI analysis packages such as FSL, FreeSurfer, and Spinal Cord Toolbox
- Lead the design of analysis approaches and reporting for specific research cohorts
- Implement innovative statistical approaches and machine learning to extract findings from large-scale datasets
- Supervise and train junior team members on data analysis tools and cognitive testing
- Contribute to the writing of abstracts, peer-reviewed manuscripts, grant applications, and ethics protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including radiologists, programmers, and clinicians
Requirements
- University degree in a relevant discipline or completion of a technical program
- Minimum of 5 years of related research experience
- Experience with MRI acquisition and analysis
- Experience with neuropsychological testing
- Proficiency in clinical data management
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate degree in a relevant field
- Strong understanding of medical terminology
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams
