About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop new specialized techniques for the processing and analysis of MRI data
  • Design, execute, and interpret novel research experiments and data analysis pipelines
  • Utilize MATLAB, Python, and MRI analysis packages such as FSL, FreeSurfer, and Spinal Cord Toolbox
  • Lead the design of analysis approaches and reporting for specific research cohorts
  • Implement innovative statistical approaches and machine learning to extract findings from large-scale datasets
  • Supervise and train junior team members on data analysis tools and cognitive testing
  • Contribute to the writing of abstracts, peer-reviewed manuscripts, grant applications, and ethics protocols
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including radiologists, programmers, and clinicians

Requirements

  • University degree in a relevant discipline or completion of a technical program
  • Minimum of 5 years of related research experience
  • Experience with MRI acquisition and analysis
  • Experience with neuropsychological testing
  • Proficiency in clinical data management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Graduate degree in a relevant field
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proven ability to work both independently and within cross-functional teams
