About the role
Responsibilities
- Review patient charts and enter data into appropriate study databases
- Maintain accuracy, accessibility, and confidentiality of study data and patient records
- Coordinate and submit documentation for institutional approvals, ethics submissions, and renewals
- Prepare and maintain study binders, source documents, and case report forms
- Assist in the storage, handling, and transfer of paper and electronic files
- Facilitate requests for neurovascular imaging studies and perform deidentification for core lab transfer
- Perform basic proofreading, editing, and document formatting
- Schedule and attend study team meetings to provide research updates
- Communicate regularly with the Principal Investigator and interdisciplinary research teams
Requirements
- High school diploma; an undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline is preferred
- Minimum 1 year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and Adobe
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working with patients with neurological conditions, caregivers, or health providers
- Experience working in a clinical or research environment
- Familiarity with interpreting scientific literature
- Experience using REDCap
