Research Assistant

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory experiments and procedures following established protocols, including flow cytometry and transplantation studies
• Assist with mouse colony management, genotyping, breeding, and animal procedures in accordance with institutional guidelines
• Collect, organize, and analyze experimental data while maintaining accurate laboratory records and databases
• Prepare reagents, maintain laboratory equipment, and assist with general laboratory organization

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in molecular biology, cell culture, or flow cytometry
• Strong data organization and fundamental computer skills (Excel, Word)
• Excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to work collaboratively in a professional environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Biomedical Sciences, Genetics, or a related field
• Experience with mouse handling and husbandry
• Prior academic laboratory experience
