About the role

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate industry-funded clinical trials and investigator-initiated studies within the Division of Pediatric Neurology
  • Prepare REB submissions and obtain necessary approvals for clinical trials and other studies
  • Identify, recruit, and consent eligible subjects for research studies
  • Schedule on-site or virtual visits and track enrolled subjects for follow-up assessments
  • Complete Case Report Forms (CRFs), perform electronic data entry, and manage databases
  • Maintain regulatory documentation and ensure studies adhere to ethical guidelines and GCP
  • Report Adverse Events and Serious Adverse Events using appropriate communication modes
  • Collaborate with Principal Investigators to develop study protocols and project databases
  • Invoicing sponsors for completed work and organizing regular study team meetings

Requirements

  • Completion of a relevant technical program or a university degree in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum of three years of related research experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and initiative skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • University degree in Science
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Access, PACS, and Unix
