About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and lead the processing and characterization of isotopically enriched samples of quantum materials
- Plan and execute experiments using muon spin rotation (muSR) and beta-detected NMR (beta-NMR)
- Perform detailed analysis of experimental data
- Take a lead role in the preparation of scientific articles for publication in peer-reviewed journals
- Collaborate with an international team of scientists at major laboratories in England, Switzerland, and Canada
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- 4 years of related professional experience
- Experience with processing and characterizing samples using enriched stable isotopes
- Extensive experience with muon spin rotation and beta-detected NMR
- Strong written and oral communication skills for scientific reporting and collaboration
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry or Condensed Matter Physics
- Proven ability to work with high levels of autonomy in a research environment
