Research Assistant

Responsibilities

• Support an NIH-funded project investigating the regulation of non-muscle myosin II
• Work with Drosophila tissue culture cells and various Drosophila fly lines
• Collaborate effectively as part of a research team
• Contribute to the publication of scientific papers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Strong scientific writing and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with culturing cells
• Knowledge of fly genetics and husbandry
• Experience with microscopy, biochemistry, or molecular biology
