Research Assistant Intermediate

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of analytical and technical laboratory experiments to investigate molecular mechanisms of diseases
• Develop new procedures and protocols and follow established research methods
• Record and analyze experimental results and present findings at lab meetings, seminars, and professional conferences
• Conduct literature searches and co-author research results
• Independently conduct laboratory research in conjunction with the Principal Investigator
• Assist in the training and mentoring of other research personnel

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience, or a Master's degree
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
• Ability to perform frequent sitting, standing, and keyboard use
