About the role

Responsibilities

  • Extract nucleic acids from various biomaterials including fresh frozen and FFPE tissue, cell lines, blood, plasma, and saliva
  • Perform quality assurance and quality control on all extracted materials
  • Execute high-throughput genomic assays using liquid handlers and robotic instruments
  • Train on cutting-edge spatial transcriptomic methods using 10x Genomics platforms
  • Support droplet digital PCR experiments to validate oncogenic alterations
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and optimize workflows following LEAN principles

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field with at least 4 years of experience, OR a Master's degree with 1-2 years of experience
  • Experience with nucleic acid purification for NGS platforms
  • Hands-on experience working with FFPE samples and cell lines
  • Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced research environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of digital PCR (dPCR) techniques
  • Experience operating automated liquid handlers or robotic laboratory instrumentation
  • Familiarity with LIMS or iLAB billing systems
