About the role

Responsibilities

  • Write and test computer programs using Python, Qiskit, and FORTRAN
  • Conduct computational research in Molecular Physics regarding quantum computing algorithms
  • Support the development of methods for modelling the quantum dynamics of molecular collision processes
  • Provide weekly research summaries and reports
  • Meet regularly with the Principal Investigator to discuss project progress and expectations
  • Work collaboratively within the lab environment with a growing degree of independence

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Solid grasp of the principles of Quantum Mechanics, Molecular Physics, and Physical Chemistry
  • Background in quantum information
  • Strong effective communication and organizational skills
