Research Assistant I

Responsibilities

• Support the CTSA and ENACT research projects through qualitative data collection and analysis
• Recruit research participants and conduct surveys, interviews, and focus groups
• Analyze and synthesize data in an ethical and responsible manner
• Develop dissemination materials, including abstracts, manuscripts, and presentations for various audiences
• Demonstrate adaptability by working within interdisciplinary teams and adopting different roles as needed
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and external partners to meet project goals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Proven work experience in research projects incorporating qualitative and survey design
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both oral and written)
• High attention to detail and the ability to review your own and others' work
• Ability to work autonomously on multiple simultaneous projects and meet strict deadlines
• Problem-solving skills and a proactive work ethic

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• 1-2 years of previous job-related research experience
• Experience with mixed research methodologies
• Proficiency in statistical software such as SAS, Stata, or NVivo
• Experience working within an academic research institution
