About the role

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and culture multiple human cell lines, including induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), under aseptic conditions
  • Develop and execute iPSC differentiation protocols for vascular and disease modeling applications
  • Perform analytical assays including ELISA, immunofluorescence staining, and confocal/fluorescence microscopy
  • Quantify and analyze imaging data using ImageJ and other software, applying Python or MATLAB for data processing
  • Assist in the design and fabrication of tissue engineering experiments and 3D cell-laden constructs
  • Perform primary cell isolation, cell banking, and cryopreservation workflows
  • Provide technical support and cross-functional collaboration with graduate students and postdocs
  • Assist with training junior laboratory members and managing laboratory inventory

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a research environment
  • Proficiency in human cell and tissue culture
  • Experience with basic laboratory procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.S. in Bioengineering or a related field with at least 2 years of biomedical laboratory experience
  • M.S. degree with 1-2 years of relevant work experience
  • Strong background in cell culture and a deep interest in research
