About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist with recruiting individuals for participation in the study
- Conduct research activities in accordance with study protocols and institutional regulations to safeguard participant confidentiality
- Administer structured interviews and train participants on study procedures, including electronic diaries, saliva collection, and home blood pressure monitoring
- Track the collection of study data and assist with REDCap database design, security, and management
- Engage with community members to disseminate study findings
- Prepare manuscripts and abstracts for research dissemination
- Complete literature reviews and perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Familiarity with electronic data capture systems
- Organized and able to multitask in a diverse research environment
- Flexibility in workload and work hours to meet deadlines and recruitment goals
- Capable of working effectively in research groups
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in research or healthcare settings
- Experience conducting research with diverse populations
