Research Assistant

Responsibilities

• Assist with recruiting individuals for participation in the study
• Conduct research activities in accordance with study protocols and institutional regulations to safeguard participant confidentiality
• Administer structured interviews and train participants on study procedures, including electronic diaries, saliva collection, and home blood pressure monitoring
• Track the collection of study data and assist with REDCap database design, security, and management
• Engage with community members to disseminate study findings
• Prepare manuscripts and abstracts for research dissemination
• Complete literature reviews and perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with electronic data capture systems
• Organized and able to multitask in a diverse research environment
• Flexibility in workload and work hours to meet deadlines and recruitment goals
• Capable of working effectively in research groups

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in research or healthcare settings
• Experience conducting research with diverse populations
