About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform bioelectronic device fabrication including photolithography, thin-film deposition, and lift-off process optimization
- Execute plasma processing, polymer processing, and laser processing tasks
- Maintain cleanroom protocols and contamination control within an ISO Class environment
- Manage process documentation, SOP adherence, and optical inspection/metrology
- Troubleshoot process defects such as adhesion failures and etch non-uniformity
- Collaborate with graduate students, postdocs, and external collaborators on multiple laboratory projects
- Present research progress and findings during monthly group meetings
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific discipline
- Minimum of two years of experience in a research environment
- Proven cleanroom fabrication skills
- Proficiency in basic laboratory procedures
- CAD and design skills
- Proficiency with Office Suite or Google Workspace applications
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- B.S. in Engineering (Biomedical, Bioengineering, or Electrical) with at least 2 years of relevant lab experience
- M.S. degree with at least 2 years of professional work experience
- Extensive experience in cleanroom environments and advanced fabrication techniques
