About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and execution of robotics research projects, including experiment design and data analysis
  • Conduct independent research on state-of-the-art robotics foundation models such as VLAs and world models
  • Work with robotics software (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, simulators) and hardware (e.g., Franka Panda arm)
  • Follow research plans to collect, record, and manipulate research data while maintaining detailed records
  • Perform basic data analysis to produce reports and document results and processes
  • Test software prototypes and perform library research or field explorations
  • Communicate research findings clearly to the team

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Experience with data collection and analysis
  • Experience with data entry and record management
  • Previous research experience
