Research Assistant

Responsibilities

• Conduct experiments and manage data to ensure accuracy and integrity
• Analyze experimental data and prepare reports or summaries of research findings
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of research reagents and supplies
• Provide laboratory supervision to undergraduate students
• Attend lab meetings to update the principal investigator on research progress
• Ensure all research activities comply with university policies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences
• Demonstrable experience with mammalian cell culture
• Proficiency in molecular biology techniques including nucleic acid extraction, qPCR, and CRISPR/Cas9-editing
• Prior academic research experience
