Research Assistant

Responsibilities

• Prepare chemical solutions, prep materials, and aliquots for undergraduate lab classes
• Maintain stock of laboratory supplies in designated lab locations
• Clean and maintain laboratory equipment and glassware
• Perform specific laboratory duties as required by various lab classes
• Collaborate effectively with instructors, staff, Teaching Assistants, and students

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check
• Child Protection Clearances (Act 153)
• OSHA Hazardous Materials Safety Training

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in research, data collection, and analysis
• Experience in record management
• A combination of education and proven experience demonstrating comparable knowledge
