About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research under PI supervision focusing on machine learning methods for predicting physics behavior in additive manufacturing.
  • Develop neural network models for geometry representation, including point clouds, meshes, or neural fields.
  • Generate and curate training data from numerical simulations of manufacturing processes.
  • Contribute to manuscripts, technical reports, and lab activities.
  • Present research results during lab meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Foundational knowledge of machine learning.
  • Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks.
  • Successful completion of a background check.

  • Master's degree.
  • 0-1 years of professional research experience.
