About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct research under PI supervision focusing on reinforcement learning methods for the control of physical processes.
- Develop and train reinforcement learning agents within simulated environments.
- Build and maintain simulation environments and reward formulations for RL experiments.
- Contribute to manuscripts, technical reports, and lab activities.
- Present research results during lab meetings.
- Document methods and results for academic publications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (Master's degree preferred).
- Proficiency in Python.
- Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks.
- Foundational knowledge of machine learning.
- Successful completion of a background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in additive manufacturing or physical process control.
- Previous experience in a research lab setting.
