Research Assistant

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain critical laboratory infrastructure supporting the shared space in the 2D center.
• Perform exfoliation and prepare 2D flakes on SiO2/Si substrates.
• Stack 2D materials and fabricate heterostructure devices.
• Collaborate with project teams to characterize flakes and devices.
• Analyze data and troubleshoot problems within the fabrication process.
• Train undergraduate researchers in the laboratory setting.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous research laboratory experience.
• Experience with data entry.
• A combination of education and proven experience demonstrating comparable knowledge.
