About the role
Responsibilities
- Administer regulatory documents, forms, and questionnaires to the Research Ethics Board (REB) in a timely manner
- Maintain research databases, including computer data entry and recording observations and results
- Assist in analyzing and interpreting research data, including the compilation and summary of statistical data
- Process blood samples by performing venipuncture, using centrifuges, and preparing samples for shipping according to protocol
- Organize study and regulatory documents, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and CVs
- Maintain inventory and distribute research supplies
- Demonstrate work routines or procedures to less experienced staff or students
Requirements
- High school graduation with additional training in a related field
- Minimum of two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in venipuncture and blood sample processing
- Experience with regulatory document administration
- Strong skills in data entry and analysis
- Ability to work in a healthcare facility setting (requires verification of full Covid-19 vaccination)
Preferred Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in a health-related field (e.g., BSc, BScN, RN, LPN, or Pharmacy)
- Two years of recent experience specifically in clinical research
