About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide advanced technical support for SaaS platforms and analytics tools, including SAS, R/RStudio, and various government analytical platforms.
- Maintain and troubleshoot scalable data pipelines to ensure reliable processing of large datasets for analytics and reporting.
- Monitor server availability, address downtime, and develop robust disaster recovery solutions to protect data integrity.
- Create comprehensive technical documentation for data models, pipelines, server environments, and transformation workflows.
- Troubleshoot large data models and optimize the execution performance of statistical and analytical workloads.
- Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure reliable access to trusted data and resolve technical issues promptly.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience.
- 3+ years of experience supporting, monitoring, and troubleshooting data pipelines (ETL, cloud-storage, reporting, and deployment).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks).
- Strong experience with R/RStudio, SAS, SQL, and Python for data manipulation and automation.
- Hands-on experience with modern data warehousing and transformation tools such as Snowflake and dbt.
- Familiarity with CI/CD practices and version control tools like Git.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with additional analytical platforms such as SPSS, Stata, Tableau, or ArcGIS.
- Experience or familiarity with healthcare or research data (e.g., clinical, claims, EHR, genomic, or imaging data).
- Knowledge of other cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
