Research and Development Technician

Responsibilities

• Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements in target markets (CFIA, USDA, etc.)
• Prepare and submit regulatory documentation for new product registrations
• Utilize food labeling software like Genesis or FoodLabelMaker for ingredient and nutrition accuracy
• Review and approve product labels, packaging artwork, and marketing claims
• Maintain and track records for regulatory submissions, approvals, and certifications
• Monitor and document product shelf-life studies
• Manage ingredient and production specification documentation
