Research and Development Solution Architect - Digital Lab Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of digital solutions for Lab Operations and CMC operations, ensuring alignment with global architecture strategy.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical experts to translate functional requirements into robust, scalable solution designs.
• Create and maintain current and target-state architecture roadmaps to support the digital transformation of R&D.
• Drive the "Lab In the Loop" implementation in partnership with the In Silico Research organization.
• Evaluate third-party products and suppliers for technical usefulness and cost-effectiveness.
• Streamline existing architectures to deliver reusable services and identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency.

Requirements

• 5-8+ years of experience in Solution Architecture or a related technical field.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Proven expertise in designing, developing, and optimizing complex IT solutions.
• Strong knowledge of GxP, HIPAA, and GDPR compliance regulations within IT solution design.
• Hands-on experience with technologies including Snowflake, GitHub, IICS, Python, Openshift, ReactJS, SQL, AWS, or Azure.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a global or multi-cultural corporate environment.
• Advanced understanding of data types and ontologies within a Research & Development context.
• Experience with DevOps, Lean, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong vendor relationship management skills.
