Smith Engineering Hyperloop (formerly Queen's Hyperloop Design Team) is an internationally acclaimed student team that seeks to innovate the future of green transportation. The team consists of Technical, Research and Development, Business and Logistics, and Tunneling and Boring branches.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team's research initiatives and identify innovative technologies supporting long-term goals
• Oversee research projects and coordinate technical investigations
• Work closely with technical branches to explore emerging concepts in hyperloop transportation, infrastructure, tunneling, and automation
• Recruit and mentor team members
• Manage project timelines, deliverables, and technical documentation
• Facilitate the development of research papers, reports, and competition submissions
• Foster a culture of innovation and ensure research aligns with strategic objectives
