About the role

Responsibilities

  • Research, collect, and analyze data to produce high-quality reports and support the development of constituency positions.
  • Coordinate the preparation of periodic analyses and information reports for constituency authorities and management.
  • Support the Office in leveraging emerging artificial intelligence tools and digital platforms to improve research productivity, data visualization, and strategic outreach.
  • Assist in the preparation of briefing materials, presentations, and talking points for the Executive Director.
  • Maintain dashboards and update economic, social, and environmental indicators for constituency countries.
  • Liaise with contacts in constituency capitals to gather and manage information and development strategies.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Banking, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant public service experience.
  • Deep understanding of the needs and context of the Sub-Saharan African Region.
  • Demonstrated AI fluency, including the ability to utilize emerging AI-enabled research, productivity, and data analysis tools.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to summarize complex issues into briefs.
  • Proficiency in information technology and digital platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in French or Portuguese.
  • Experience in social media communications, digital content management, data visualization, or graphic design applications.
