Research Analyst

Responsibilities

• Identify and recommend new investment ideas to assist portfolio managers in generating above-market returns
• Analyze and monitor developments impacting portfolio holdings
• Perform fundamental analysis on sectors and industries to aid in stock selection and portfolio construction
• Communicate investment recommendations clearly and concisely to portfolio managers and analysts
• Develop and maintain research relationships with company management, industry contacts, and research vendors
• Conduct field trips, interview executives, and attend industry conferences

Requirements

• Over 7 years of buy-side experience as an Analyst (generalist or small-cap sector coverage)
• Strong working knowledge of accounting and finance
• Bachelor's degree required
• Ability to analyze and model financial metrics, business strategies, and valuation parameters
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
