Research Analyst

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed knowledge of assigned industry and companies to assess market developments and news
• Gather research data and maintain accurate research databases
• Collect information on financial performance, competitive positioning, and management quality
• Utilize quantitative tools to analyze market sectors and conduct statistical analyses
• Develop and maintain financial models for revenue, income, cash flow, and balance sheet projections
• Prepare industry and company reports, presentations, and exhibits for research and portfolio management teams
• Provide input for new investment ideas and portfolio positions
• Participate in meetings with company management and brokers to obtain research information
• Ensure all work activities comply with applicable rules, regulations, and policies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred
• Extensive experience in investment research focused on Chinese markets
• Fluency in Chinese (written and verbal) is essential
• Strong investment analytics and economic research skills
• Knowledge of data gathering and analysis methodologies
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bloomberg, and standard investment industry data sources
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of investment concepts, products, and applicable regulations
