Research Analyst

Responsibilities

• Develop key insights and long-term investment recommendations
• Perform new idea screening and industry landscaping for public equity in emerging markets
• Build complex financial models and draft investment case summary documents
• Conduct research activities in Mandarin for companies in China, including management meetings and industry conferences
• Monitor existing investments by following industry trends, company results, and competitive analysis
• Participate in weekly Investment and Strategy Team meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Commerce, or a related field
• 4 years of experience in fundamental investment research of global companies
• 4 years of experience in Emerging Markets and equity research
• 4 years of experience communicating research findings via PowerPoint, reports, and FactSet
• Fluency in both English and Mandarin
• Ability to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally
