Research Analyst II

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage clinical and research data collection activities within the Liver Transplant program
• Conduct literature searches and reviews to support research proposals, manuscripts, and ongoing projects
• Develop, maintain, and organize research databases, datasets, and regulatory documentation
• Liaise with internal teams, external collaborators, and institutional departments regarding data flow and project coordination
• Assist with Research Ethics Board (REB) submissions, amendments, and study documentation
• Participate in the review and implementation of data collection strategies and quality assurance processes
• Generate statistical summaries, reports, response curves, and other research-related outputs

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Science
• Minimum of three (3) years of related research experience
• Proficiency in statistical analysis and data management software applications
• Strong knowledge of research regulations and guidelines (e.g., ICH/GCP, PHIPA, Tri-Council Policy)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly developed computer and internet skills; experience with RedCap is highly valued

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in R and SQL
• Experience developing and working according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Ability to manage competing demands of short and long-term projects independently
