About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement resource development projects within the Cancer Education Program
- Conduct literature reviews, needs assessments, and provide general research support
- Recruit study participants and assist in writing research proposals and program reports
- Perform statistical analysis and maintain data using Microsoft Excel
- Coordinate projects and perform data entry, content review, and quality audits
- Liaise effectively with patients, families, physicians, and allied health professionals
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a Health or Science-Related Discipline
- Minimum 1 year of related experience in a health-related field (e.g., health promotion, policy, or education)
- Familiarity with health behaviour theories, health literacy, and plain language principles
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification as a Clinical Research Professional
