About the role

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement resource development projects within the Cancer Education Program
  • Conduct literature reviews, needs assessments, and provide general research support
  • Recruit study participants and assist in writing research proposals and program reports
  • Perform statistical analysis and maintain data using Microsoft Excel
  • Coordinate projects and perform data entry, content review, and quality audits
  • Liaise effectively with patients, families, physicians, and allied health professionals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a Health or Science-Related Discipline
  • Minimum 1 year of related experience in a health-related field (e.g., health promotion, policy, or education)
  • Familiarity with health behaviour theories, health literacy, and plain language principles
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification as a Clinical Research Professional
