About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate neuroscience education initiatives and manage day-to-day operations for the Krembil Education Team
- Identify and invite speakers for weekly Neuroscience rounds and coordinate event scheduling
- Build, design, and update websites and video archives to support educational content
- Track and analyze engagement data for rounds, websites, and various events
- Create and circulate promotional materials, including website posts, emails, and posters
- Manage UHN mailing lists and organize webinars, town halls, and other educational events
- Prepare comprehensive funding and progress reports
- Support KBI Neuroscience Education research projects and inter-professional development initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience, Physiology, Life Sciences, or a recognized equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of related practical experience
- Experience working within the healthcare field
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and patient scheduling software
- Strong organizational and communication skills (both written and oral)
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior work experience in an academic or research environment
- Experience with website creation and design
- Previous experience managing education initiatives or working in Neuroscience research settings
- Administrative work experience
