Research Analyst

Responsibilities

• Collect and manage market data for asset classes including office, logistics, industrial, and hotels
• Maintain and improve internal databases and manage external data source contracts
• Create quarterly and monthly market trend reports in Japanese and English
• Produce market summary, statistical analysis, and charts for thought leadership content
• Support sales teams by providing research data and assisting with pitch decks and proposals
• Prepare market briefing materials and presentations for clients
• Coordinate with APAC and global research teams to provide data and reporting

Requirements

• University degree (Master's in Economics or Construction Engineering preferred)
• 3+ years of experience in real estate leasing or investment industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, PowerQuery) and PowerPoint
• Native or business-level Japanese fluency
• Ability to read English reports and write business documents in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in capital markets (asset management, acquisition, or brokerage)
• Experience in development or leasing with major developers
• Real estate certifications (e.g., Real Estate Transaction Agent)
• Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience with statistical analysis using R or Python
• Experience with GIS (Geographic Information Systems)
