Research Analyst

Responsibilities

• Aggregate, standardize, and augment disparate datasets while maintaining and updating multiple commercial real estate databases.
• Provide reliable statistical information on commercial properties, including vacancy rates, lease rates, absorption trends, and economic indicators.
• Assist in the collection and production of quarterly and annual market reports following corporate standards.
• Support brokers with lease abstracting, sale analysis, and the preparation of broker opinions of value.
• Conduct field research to verify tenant movement, monitor new developments, and enhance market information.
• Partner with marketing and sales teams to provide research expertise for client pitches and proposals.
• Collaborate with IT and research teams to troubleshoot and implement changes to proprietary software systems.

Requirements

• 2+ years of research experience within the Commercial Real Estate industry.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Proven experience using Commercial Real Estate (CRE) data platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to calculate key metrics such as cap rates, absorption, and inventory.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ArcGIS or other GIS Location Intelligence tools.
