Research Aide

Responsibilities

• Administer state and federal child care subsidies for the Cape May County territory
• Manage the daily eligibility process, including application review, determination, and re-determination
• Maintain accurate data storage and documentation to meet administrative and program quality audits
• Perform continuous case management, updating client information such as household income, family size, and provider selection
• Execute fiscal oversight tasks, including generating recoupments and completing related reports
• Provide high-quality consumer education to participants within the delivery system

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two years of varied office experience (college-level study may be substituted on a year-for-year basis)
• Proficiency in computer software, including basic spreadsheets, word processing, and databases
• Strong data organization and record-keeping skills
• Effective written and interpersonal communication skills
• Strong client service abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish)
• Familiarity with state or federal child care subsidy programs
