Requirements Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform elicitation of requirements from stakeholders through workshops, interviews, and document analysis
• Create and maintain clear, complete, consistent, and testable requirements
• Structure requirements according to defined hierarchy and support decomposition
• Manage requirements within defined tools and repositories ensuring data quality and versioning
• Maintain bi-directional traceability between stakeholder needs and verification artifacts
• Support change handling activities including impact analysis
• Apply quality criteria and participate in reviews and audits to identify inconsistencies
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, testers, and external partners
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of requirements management methods and tools

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or similar
• 8+ years of experience in requirements engineering or related roles
• Proficiency with Codebeamer
• Knowledge of structured development processes
• Strong analytical and structuring skills
• High attention to detail and quality orientation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Codebeamer, JAMA, or Flow
• Automotive embedded software development lifecycle experience
• Domain experience in Body controllers, ADAS, Propulsion, or Infotainment
• Experience handling complex multi-domain system requirements (Software, hardware, mechanical)
• Skilled in managing agile and V-model based projects in automotive software development
• Knowledge of regulatory and governing bodies legislation
