About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead the capture of Future Naval Composable Weapon opportunities from inception through program startup
  • Create and implement customer-aligned win strategies that highlight key value propositions and differentiators
  • Drive early customer engagement to shape requirements and influence acquisition strategies
  • Develop comprehensive engagement plans, including customer mapping and Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M)
  • Guide strategy through the RTX Lifecycle Program Management (RLPM) framework
  • Build and lead multi-disciplinary capture and execution teams across various business units and functional areas
  • Lead critical capture events such as Black Hat reviews, Win Strategy Workshops, and Color Team reviews
  • Provide direct support in proposal development, including technical and management volumes
  • Brief senior leadership on capture progress, investment needs, risks, and opportunities
  • Ensure seamless transition from capture to program execution through post-award startup planning

Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 12 years in Aerospace and Defense
  • 5+ years of experience directly leading acquisition or program cross-functional teams with NAVSEA PEO IWS
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance required on day 1
  • U.S. Citizenship is required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA or STEM-based preferred)
  • Working knowledge of Business Development operations, including financial planning and pipeline management
  • Experience with US Navy requirements development and budgeting processes for naval missiles
