Representative, Import Documentation

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical documentation cycle for import containers to ensure efficient customs clearance.
• Resolve customer inquiries and requests via email and telephone, ranging from track & trace to complex change of destination requests.
• Execute documentation protocols for import vessels and manage documentation required for shipment release.
• Perform detailed verification of documentation to ensure strict compliance with requirements.
• Coordinate with overseas agencies to resolve issues and implement changes.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and global agencies while meeting defined KPIs.
• Support internal stakeholders through effective communication and issue resolution.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant industry experience in shipping, logistics, or transportation.
• Bilingual proficiency in written and spoken English and French.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating within ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
• Experience using Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Additional language skills.
