About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide superior customer service to RG&E customers in an office setting
- Process customer payments and apply them accurately to customer accounts
- Handle billing inquiries, collections transactions, and miscellaneous account requests
- Process Department of Social Services transactions and service requests
- Balance cash drawers and prepare daily cash deposits
- Assist with gas and electric emergencies as needed
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
- Good computer skills and SAP experience
- RG&E billing and collections experience
- Strong mathematical, analytical, and decision-making abilities
