Reporter, Law Middle East

Responsibilities

• Pitch, write, and edit daily digital content and contribute to monthly print reports
• Research and conduct interviews with industry sources to verify facts and ensure accuracy
• Break exclusive news regarding law firm moves, regulatory updates, and corporate deals
• Monitor industry trends and audience interests to develop original, engaging stories
• Collaborate with social and video teams to create multi-platform content packages
• Meet weekly content volume and audience targets in line with editorial strategy
• Support revenue-generating content strategies and maintain relationships with PR professionals
• Attend relevant industry events and conferences

Requirements

• 1-3 years of editorial experience in a newsroom environment
• Strong writing and interviewing skills with a proven portfolio
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines
• Understanding of SEO best practices
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Fluent in English
• Strong research skills and high attention to detail
