About the role
Responsibilities
- Research, produce, and present engaging news content across broadcast and digital platforms.
- Break exclusive and original stories using investigative techniques and established contacts.
- Deliver high-quality interviews, Q&As, bulletins, and packages for multiple platforms.
- Build and maintain strong relationships within the Kimberley community to source impactful stories.
- Collaborate with the Regional WA News team to share expertise and ideas.
- Contribute to local emergency coverage and support critical news delivery when required.
Requirements
- Proven experience breaking impactful news stories and developing strong source networks.
- Strong editorial judgement with the ability to deliver content across digital, radio, and television.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- A collaborative approach to teamwork and community engagement.

- Base salary of $84K - $103K plus 15.4% ABC Nominated Super.
