Replenishment Buyer

Responsibilities

• Drive the Test and Reorder model for assigned categories to ensure best-selling products are reordered timely at optimal cost and quality
• Establish and maintain solid vendor relations to secure optimal deliveries, costs, and quality
• Communicate with vendors regarding item availability, stock levels by size/color, incoming pre-orders, and minimum order quantities (MOQs)
• Negotiate discounts and costs, including air freight negotiations to expedite deliveries
• Present replenishment and expansion recommendations to Planning and Buying teams
• Enter and manage purchase orders within the system
• Monitor selling reports and program buys to manage inventory flow and recommend promotional activities when necessary
• Stay current on fashion market trends and emerging best practices in merchandising and buying

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in Replenishment, Data Analysis, or a related field
• Proven experience in vendor negotiation and relationship management
• Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to provide actionable data insights
• Advanced Excel proficiency (must be able to perform complex functions including SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, and Pivot Tables)
• Deep knowledge of retail math concepts (markup, margin planning, open-to-buy, and inventory productivity)
• BFA or BA in Fashion Merchandising, Business, or a related field
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
