Repairs Technician

Responsibilities

• Carry out repair work to restore lifts and escalators to full service
• Ensure appropriate site personnel are informed of arrival, departure, and equipment status
• Shut down unsafe lifts or escalators in accordance with established procedures
• Propose material alterations to improve escalator performance
• Maintain tidy work sites and ensure all paperwork is up to date
• Provide flexibility for overtime or weekend work as required

Requirements

• Electrical Trade qualification and a current electrical license
• Previous experience as a Lift Service Technician or Lift Repairs Technician
• Current driver's license
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure
• Uncompromising commitment to quality workmanship and safety policies
