Repairman Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise repair staff, contractors, and suppliers to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and safely
• Maintain and repair machinery for aggregate or asphalt facilities, including rock plants, asphalt plants, and belt lines
• Perform scheduled routine maintenance such as replacing screen decks, conveyor belts, and rollers
• Troubleshoot and identify causes for repairs using hand tools, power tools, and test equipment
• Fabricate metal components like hoppers, transfer boxes, and conveyor systems through measuring, cutting, and welding
• Form, pour, and level concrete foundation pads and footings as required
• Operate heavy equipment for mining, stockpiling, cleaning, and plant maintenance
• Manage loading and unloading of tools, supplies, and heavy materials using lifts or forklifts

Requirements

• Proficiency in cutting, torching, grinding, and welding
• Experience with rigging and the use of various hand tools
• Ability to operate heavy machinery and equipment
• Knowledge of aggregate and asphalt materials and products
• Ability to work safely and productively in a team environment
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform manual labor like shoveling
