About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform repair and service work on company products using hand and power tools
- Diagnose tool issues by performing complete function tests
- Read and comprehend repair order information, parts schematics, and technical drawings
- Disassemble units, diagnose operating difficulties, and replace worn or defective parts
- Complete repair order forms and maintain records of parts used for billing and warranty data
- Set up and perform electrical and mechanical tests to ensure quality standards are met
- Recognize and report operational irregularities and defective materials
- Assist with 5S projects and maintain housekeeping in the assigned area
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- High attention to detail
- Basic computer skills
- Strong writing skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions
- Ability to bend, stoop, push, and pull parts and containers
- Ability to work in various temperature conditions
