Repair Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and service work on company products using hand and power tools
• Diagnose tool issues by performing complete function tests
• Read and comprehend repair order information, parts schematics, and technical drawings
• Disassemble units, diagnose operating difficulties, and replace worn or defective parts
• Complete repair order forms and maintain records of parts used for billing and warranty data
• Set up and perform electrical and mechanical tests to ensure quality standards are met
• Recognize and report operational irregularities and defective materials
• Assist with 5S projects and maintain housekeeping in the assigned area

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• High attention to detail
• Basic computer skills
• Strong writing skills
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions
• Ability to bend, stoop, push, and pull parts and containers
• Ability to work in various temperature conditions
